A Northeast Ohio Radon Testing and Mitigation Service

Making your Home Safe from Radon

Q: What is Radon?

A: Radon is a colorless, odorless, radioactive gas that is found naturally in most of the United States. It is released from rocks, soil, and water. It gets into homes and buildings through cracks or holes in foundations and becomes airborne.

Q: How do you know if you have Radon?

A:The only way to discover Radon is by performing a Radon test. This will let you know if there is an unsafe level of radon in your home. The State of Ohio Department of Health recommends mitigation for levels above 4 picocuries per Liter (pCi/L) of air. The U.S. EPA recommends mitigation above 2 pCi/L.

Q: How do you test for Radon?

A: We can discuss the different ways to test for Radon. Stoll Radon uses the best monitors on the market, the Radon Eye Pro, reports satisfy both State requirements and Real Estate transactions.

A little about me, my name is Tim Stoll, I was born and raised in the Canal Fulton area just like both of my parents. I started helping my dad, a master carpenter / builder at an early age. He could do just about everything; carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and even auto and small engine repair. He taught me all of these things but the most important was a work ethic that included showing up on time, doing more than is expected, and most importantly, doing it right with no shortcuts.

Work took me to California where I raised 2 children. I returned home to Ohio in 2013, both of my adult children followed me here. I was blessed with my 1st grandchild, he’s a Buckeye fan like his papa, in 2022.

I genuinely enjoy working to create and build things. Building kitchen cabinets, decks, and doing small projects for friends, family, and referrals keeps me busy during my free time.

When customers comment about me doing a quality job, my response is always the same, “I do every job like it’s in my own home”.

I look forward to meeting you and making your home safe from Radon.
